Bravo International enhances a city already replete with an abundance of cultural activities. It seeks to connect and captivate audiences with interesting, challenging and original programming that occupies the esoteric “gaps and spaces” not filled by the other companies in our city.
Bravo International is committed to applying the highest artistic standards to an eclectic range of international styles and time periods. Classical, jazz, and Broadway compositions are juxtaposed with music from a variety of other cultures, creating a ‘signature style’ that is an exquisite fusion of different idioms, genres and languages.
This artistic vision comes from both the head and the heart. It is the result of founder Margaret Maye’s love of theatre and storytelling and her passion for the sensuality inherent in music.
Our concerts will feature the crème de la crème of International Stars and young Canadian talent, presented in the best of venues. Their musical range will reflect the experiences of those living in an urban center like 21st century Toronto, surrounded by the words, sounds and rhythms of many cultures.
